sure.
mock is a chrooted buildtool.
Installing the package outside of the chroot is completely senseless.
We are building quite a large amount of packages on rhel4, installing a 
fc5 package is sure to break or host the system.

Not gonna happen.

Or even neater: I know that there are at least two people building rpms 
with mock on a debian host.
