Hi,
We're using Fedora 3.0 to build our digital library. The one thing which we
do is modifying SIP Creator application to ingest large files. We introduced
new classes to support file transport via gridFTP (FTP with GSI) to exteral
storage. Obviously we need to create digital object with redirected content
and the URL looks like gsiftp://server/file.
But there is error in fedora: fedora.server.errors.ObjectIntegrityException:
FOXML IO stream was bad : Malformed URL: gsiftp://server/home/globus
So there are 3 questions with Fedora usage:
* How to add such redirected content?
* Is it possible to add new protocol support in Fedora ?
* What is the best realible way to pass large files (1GB-1TB) from client to
server?
Thanks,
Victor Samoylov
