repo for it now, I'll look at what you've done and simply migrate it to use 3.1

I want to start on my deb installer for fedora-commons, I know there was a
similar effort in the past:

but the deb is no longer there:
deb http://debian.cvt.dk/ported-software etch local
does anyone still have this deb in their /var/cache/apt directories? I don't
mind starting fresh, but if anything has already been done that fits what I
want to do, I'd rather build on it.
