Hi,
We are using genericsearch-2.2 with Lucene to index a fedora
repository. It appears the default is case sensitive, however we would
like the searches to be case-insensitive. We are using
gpl.pierrick.brihaye.aramorph.lucene.ArabicStemAnalyzer as our analyzer
as the contents are in Arabic and English. One possible route would be
to create 2 types of Lucene index fields - 1) case sensitive for
display and 2) case insensitive (transform the field contents to
lowercase upon indexing in the foxmlToLucene.xslt, and use these as the
default query fields). It seems there should be a better way, is there
a method more preferable to this?
Thanks,
Eric James
