here is (literally) what I have understand about the regular expression:

"([A-Za-z0-9]|-|\.)+:" -> you must have at least ("+") one alphanumerical character or "-" or "." ("[A-Za-z0-9]|-|\.") fellowed by ":"

"(([A-Za-z0-9])|-|\.|~|_|(%[0-9A-F]{2}))+" -> you must have at least ("+") one alphanumerical character or "-" or "." or "~" or "_" ("([A-Za-z0-9])|-|\.|~|_|") or a string containing one "%" and two caracters including 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E or F

So your PID is'nt valide because of the "/" and the second ":"... well, that's what I have recently understand.
