CAMP: PRACTICAL BUILDING BLOCKS FOR ACCESS MANAGEMENT (June 15-17)
Do you have faculty demanding special access for their student
assistants to
help manage some of their online course work? Scratching your head
over how to
reduce your help desk calls and give researchers the tools they need
to set up
their own collaborative projects? This CAMP workshop will address the
challenges of delivering electronic resources and online collaboration.
Academic and administrative stakeholders and their IT partners, IT
managers,
security staff, and technical implementers will:
- Share case studies and emerging practices from academic,
administrative, and
research areas that can be used today.
- Explore the basic components of access management and their
relationship to
identity management and security.
- Learn about what stakeholders look for in access management and how
to work
together to make progress.
- Leave with advice from colleagues on how to incrementally build access
management to reduce risk and ensure success, and more.
Knowledge of identity management concepts and related implementation
experience is strongly recommended.
