It is proposed to replace, yes, but I know that it is not complete at
the moment. I just wanted go get it out there before the current REST
interface is finalized.

I reality, it will probably live alongside the existing REST api, just
like the old REST api lived alongside the current one. 

I know that FindObjects are missing, and that has to go into the list.
But I do not really like FindObjects, if you want to do searching you
are not using FindObjects, you are making a lucene index.
