Hello all,

We are having some issues with mulgara running out of memory when running
queries using the walk function to get all children of a collection.

The walk function in mulgara:
http://docs.mulgara.org/itqlcommands/select.html#o1532

Are there any alternative methods (other than getting children recursively
against each collection), that would be more efficient walk function?

The collection in question has approximately 5000 objects.

We are running on a 64 bit solaris OS with tomcat memory configured to
JAVA_OPTS=-Xms512m -Xmx2048m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m

Is 2g a reasonable amount for tomcat running fedora and muradora, how much
do memory do you have set aside for your setup?

Are there any known issues with mulgara instance supplied with muradora
2.2.4, for instance not releasing memory after query execution?

Regards,

Nigel Thomas
