Hi all, As discussed on the last Fedora developers' call, the design phase for high-level storage has started in earnest. The first stage in this process is to evaluate the Fedora object model both at the conceptual level, and a Java interface level. Are any changes necessary or desirable going forward into high-level storage and fedora 4.0?
A new page has been created on the wiki to collect community input. If you are interested in contributing to this topic, please visit the page for more background, and a description of how to contribute. Currently, committers Asger Askov Blekinge and Aaron Birkland have plans to contribute sketches, but we are hoping solicit additional sketches or input from the community at large. https://wiki.duraspace.org/x/SgFjAQ We will discuss a timeline for the model design process at the November 30 call. The intent of these initial sketches is to provide a baseline for framing the discussion, so any and all ideas (even if they focus on only one area) are welcome. The more contributions we have in advance of the initial design review the better, so please feel free to contribute as soon as you can, even if a particular idea is not fully baked! -Aaron ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Increase Visibility of Your 3D Game App & Earn a Chance To Win $500!
