ok, fcrepo-954 is merged. I cheated and also created and closed a new ticket: fcrepo-1095, to update libraries. In particular, I realized that we were not using the latest releases of trippi and mptstore, but then I got the bug and did a decent sweep of dependencies, notable exception being Spring (only because I didn't have any more time to review what might have changed).
I also noticed the test slowdown that Chris & Ben called out. I think the decision to make is 1) pause testing while we run this down (especially if it implies Fedora is misbehaving as part of object serialization/deserialization and we'd have to re-run tests anyway) 2) proceed with testing and running this down in parallel (after all, there may be other issues that we uncover). I'm in favor of #2, provided ppl are aware that we may need to re-run tests at a later date.
