Hola Guys! Short question: In the PoC for FCREPO-25 (managed audit trails) I added logic to both SimpleDOReader and SimpleDOWriter for fetching the managed audit datastream in order to add it via DigitObject.getAuditTrail().addAll(). But of course this incurs a penalty on fetching a DigitalObject from Fedora, since the managed datastream has to be read and parsed from disk every time. Wouldn't it be enough to only fetch and update the audit datastream when actually writing an object? Or is there any logic inside Fedora that depends on the audit trail being present in the DigitalObject?
