Hi all,

I am new on Fedora and I would like to know a little bit more about this
platform.

As far as I am concerned, Fedora is a XML-RDF repository. In my team we
have created a new whole platform based on FRBR where we have our data in a
relational database. So, I guess I have to create for each record an xml
and call the fedora ingest process. Is there any other way of doing this?
What is the general way of ingestion in Fedora from a relational database?

I didn't have the time to check wether Fedora provides a full-text search.
I mean each record has associated several document (PDF, HTML,...) and I
would like to know if Fedora provides a service for searching on the
content of these documents...

Moreover, in the near future we would like to incorporate tagging, login,
users, comments, scores...based on RDF. Any ideas of how to do this?

Thanks in advance,
