We have posted a workaround to this problem on the Fedora Commons Confluence Wiki at:
http://fedora-commons.org/confluence/x/iYAw We will make a modification to the Swing Admin client to have it provide a compatibility warning instead of an error. In the future we are planning a new Web-based Admin client. Please look for future postings regarding community discussions on the requirements and features such an Admin client should have. -- Dan Davis Peter Newman wrote: > Hi Daniel > > This update only updates server files (the update jar file) rending the > fedora client out-of-date. > > Cheers > Pete > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > Daniel Davis > Sent: Friday, 8 August 2008 6:16 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Fedora Users > Subject: [Fedora-commons-users] NOW AVAILABLE: Fedora 2.2.3 > MaintenanceRelease > > Aug 8, 2008 > > > FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE > > Contact: Sandy Payette, Executive Director Fedora Commons; Dan Davis, > Chief Software Architect, Fedora Commons > > > NOW AVAILABLE: Fedora 2.2.3 Maintenance Release > > /Ithaca, NY/ Today Fedora Commons released version 2.2.3 of the popular > Fedora software that includes the repair of a serious security defect > and several bug fixes.
