We're working on ingesting publications into Drupal, utilizing the Biblio module, and we're very happy with the results. However, I feel this fine for the presentation/ingest view, but I need to have a preservation layer behind it, which is going to be Fedora-commons. How would we best keep those two datasets in sync? I'm working with Paul Pound at UPEI on their Drupal/Fedora module, but currently it's used to present Fedora objects in Drupal, not syncing between the two.
Can anyone think of a way, could we use the OAI module that works with Biblio to export adds/changes from Drupal into Fedora? How about using an RSS or Atom feed? I'm trying to work out a way we could facilitate this sync'ing, and then automate it.
