Hi all,
We are excited to announce that the release of the next minor Fedora
version, Fedora Commons 3.3, has been scheduled for December 7th, 2009.
This release will contain a number of new features and bug fixes. As it is
work in progress there is still a list of open unassigned issues that need
to be addressed.
Therefore we'd like to call for community participation. We invite you to
take an active role in the final stages of the Fedora 3.3 release. You don't
have to be a committer to contribute - any contribution from anyone is
appreciated. If you would like to help out with an issue just get in contact
by posting on the list, attending a committer meeting or by sending a mail
to a committer.
There is a list of open issues[1][2] you can just pick one from. Or, if you
find that there is an issue that's not on the list but you really want to
see addressed, your contribution is equally appreciated.
In order to make it easier to participate we have created a wiki page that
provides an entry point for 3.3 community contributors[2] and some issues
with the highest priority. Once an issue is resolved it can be found on the
release notes wiki page[3].
Thanks,
Kai Strnad - Fedora 3.3 Release Manager
