Hi all
I'm starting to try to use the inbuilt Saxon module for transforming
content. Tomcat manager says the service is deployed and started (as do
the logs), but whenever I try to access the service it fails.
The errors I am receiving are
javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet.init() for servlet SaxonServlet
threw exception
org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java
:102)
org.apache.catalina.connector.CoyoteAdapter.service(CoyoteAdapter.java:2

Http11Protocol.java:583)
org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint$Worker.run(JIoEndpoint.java:454)
java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619)
root cause
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class
org.apache.commons.httpclient.MultiThreadedHttpConnectionManager
fedora.localservices.saxon.SaxonServlet.init(SaxonServlet.java:92)
org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java

org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint$Worker.run(JIoEndpoint.java:454)
java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619)
I can find the
org.apache.commons.httpclient.MultiThreadedHttpConnectionManager class
in the corresponding jar file within the WEB-INF\lib directory. I've
not mucked about with the config settings since install, they are still
as default
Any ideas on how to get Saxon working?
Kind regards
