You want to go to  http://localhost:8080/fedora (note the : instead of .).

You mentioned Glassfish in the past tense. Are you using Tomcat now? The 
log at $TOMCAT_HOME/logs/catalina.out will hopefully give you an idea of 
what might be going wrong.
