Depends on your operating system and storage layer. Many SANs and virtual storage layers can present several different disks, either local or remote, as one gigantic disk; this is something that is usually configured at the OS and/or hardware layer, and not within Fedora (or any other application higher up in the stack).
One simpler method that we've adopted recently here is to use directory symlinks: have several top-level object and datastream directories spread across several filesystems, then use symlinks to the directories in one central place to provide a single "virtual" path to them. We currently spread about 2TB of data across four filesystems this way. -- Scott Matjaž Kragelj wrote: > Hello, > > Does anybody know if there is a way to use several locations for fedora store. > So, for data folder - can I add some other location, or how do you manage to > strore 50,60 or more TB of data? > > Best regards > > Matjaz > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > The Next 800 Companies to Lead America's Growth: New Video Whitepaper > David G.
