At UVa we are considering the use of Fedora's JMS messaging for interconnecting repositories. Our concerns are to construct a system with a little more flexibility than is offered by the Journaling module and also that we may want to process and reroute material en route between repositories.
Has anone in the community tried such an approach? It seems very feasible based on the fact that messages emitted after API-M calls seem to include all of the data need to recreate that API-M call. --- A.
