We also have a need for periodic checksum validation. It would be great to
have such a service available in Fedora out-of-the-box, if such a service does
not already exist.

I am looking at enabling some kind of automatic checksum validation to be run
as well. Is there not a service already within Fedora to do this, or is it
always validating things on demand?

Thanks,
Rick

Hello,

I'm developing a Perl script and full API-A based aimed to check if
datastreams' checksum is valid (and notify by mail if it isn't ...).

I will notify users and developers when I'll put it on "github"
(www.github.com); I think I'll publish it next week (not before :) )

Bye
