Hi Ah, I see your problem.
Some of the ECM functionality have made it's way into Fedora. More specifically, the validator and the specifications of ontology and datastream schemas have made their way in. The views and the templates are also good ideas, and stuff I want to move into Fedora. We are nearing the time, where I feel the rest of the committers have come around. The ability to create new objects without ingest have a lot of support. The ability to clone sample objects seems nice to most. About the views, I am surprised that you are interested. We use them extensively in my organisation, but they are clearly the most difficult part of the ECM to explain, and the one with the least traction. I am very happy that you want to use them. I can write up some new and improved documentation for them, I it something I need to do anyhow. They will still be based on an ECM webservice. Please contact me, for any questions, and to explain what it is you want to do with the system.
