missed? A reply with a clean resolution on the point John inquired about?
Assuming not, thank you John. The files in the zip are exactly as you
describe. Further, the tutorials download page includes a clear note with a
link pointing to the zip.

There seems to be a bit of cruft around the tutorials. Meaning,
tutorial2.pdf says "This is a hands-on tutorial." Yet necessary hands-on
files referenced (per Steve) "have not been part of the distribution for a
while now". Yet there is a note on the tutorials download page linking to
an open bug (from going on 2 years ago), with a fix against the files when
(I guess) they were included.
At this stage, might at least the note on the tutorials page be updated to
indicate that tutorial2.pdf references files no longer included in current
distributions.
New users trying to get up to speed fast, might get derailed by impediments
like these with the tutorials.
