Hello FF> Thanks, Jeffery. I've tried it. It works fine for the convertion from FF> WAV, AIF, and RAW to MP3, but does not support others we need, e.g. FF> AAC, OGG, AU.
There is also sox (http://sox.sourceforge.net/), which says it supports OGG and AU. There are patent issues with AAC, so support for it may not be included by default. A quick search shows that people have tried to compile AAC support into ffmpeg, and then link this to sox.
