I solved the problem by checking out the entire fcrepo and building
it, then adding the jar files manually with:

mvn install:install-file  -Dfile=<Filename> -DgroupId=your.groupId
-DartifactId=your-artifactId -Dversion=version -Dpackaging=jar
-DgeneratePom=true

At least it stopped complaining.
