Hello Stuart, This question is probably better suited for the general djatoka mailing list, http://sourceforge.net/projects/djatoka/ ; but here is a response all the same. Sounds like you are almost there. After downloading and un-taring the adore-djatoka package (adore-djatoka-1.1.tar.gz), you need to drop the: adore-djatoka-1.1/dist/adore-djatoka.war
into your $CATALINA_HOME/webapps directory (which it sounds like you have already done). The step it seems you may be missing is that which ensures the appropriate djatoka environment variables are in the running tomcat's environment. To make sure that tomcat has the correct environment, shut down tomcat if you have not already done so, then take a look at: adore-djatoka-1.1/bin/tomcat.sh You can change the scripts around later of course, but to see if everything is working, go into the bin directory: >cd adore-djatoka-1.1/bin/ And start your tomcat from there: >./tomcat.sh start That is it. Your "Open Image in new window" at http://localhost:8080/adore-djatoka/ should be working.
