Hi Gus,

This is something I've been looking at for a while, there is some work
in this area. Peter Reimer gave a presentation about 'Plone as a
frontend to the fedora repository' at the 2008 Open Repositories
Conference:
www.dipp.nrw.de/ueberdipp/publikationen/reimer_or08.pdf

I wonder if anyone can provide an update on this work? Also see the
archives for a previous discussion about Fedora and Plone
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=25942412
Northwestern & Cornell's - Fedora PyFedoREST might be of interest:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/FEDORACREATE/PyFedoREST

Also Northwestern's JCR-Connect project is developing a Plone/JCR
connector:

  (cache)

If you find anything else out, please do share with the list.

Best regards,
John
