Dear All,
I am working on a fedora commons 3.4.2 installation which currently
has around half a million objects in it. Sometimes it is necessary to
do mass update, so the message queue and grow quite long. On occasion
when it is necessary to restart tomcat, we use following in

$FEDORA_HOME/server/logs

WARN 2011-08-01 08:02:16.631 [main] (AMQPersistenceAdapter) The
ReferenceStore is not valid - recovering

It can take hours to recover, during which time fedora commons is
unavailable. My question is - is this normal? Is there anything than
can be done to speed up the restart? This problem is most likely to
occur when tomcat was not cleanly shutdown, but can even occur after
an apparently clean shutdown.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions,
