Hi Dave
The technique is described in this thread:

atastreams-td5413479.html
It is possible you will hit a problem with authentication, for which there
is a patch which I believe isn't in 2.2; see
https://github.com/fcrepo/gsearch/commit/16cd1a4d31f0125355d0baf6a1dbb9a9d8a

Subject: [fcrepo-user] indexing managed data stream
Hello, I am new to Fedora and GSearch, but am getting familiar with it.
I have Fedora, version 3.4.2 installed and running with Tomcat on my Win7
box. I installed and configured (to the best of my knowledge) the GSearch
2.2 module and can get to the HTML client for GSearch.
I can search on DC fields, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to
search on fields in xml data streams that are managed. In other words - how
do I add those xml elements and attributes to the Lucene index? I am using
BasicIndex.
Thanks,
draskin
