Hm... I just did a fresh install of that version of the JDK so I know it's there, but doing the version command says it's apparently looking at the JRE here rather than the full java.
Here's what I get: "java version "1.4.2_03"" "Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_03-b02)" "Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_03-b02, mixed mode)" Is there a recommended way to handle this? Could it be as simple as putting the JDK ahead of the JRE in the path variable? I suppose I could invoke the JDK with the full path, but I'd be afraid things might not work well after the install if I do it that way. Thanks.
