I have fedora with FeSL installed on Ubuntu , and have been running this
since mid july. Over this period the system has been running without
problems and I have ingested thousands of objects into the system without
problem. Yesterday the system fell over in the middle of a large bulk
ingest, catalina.out reported a HotSpot error. The hs_err file was empty so
I couldnt get any clues from that, but in my experience HotSpot errors tend
to require a db_recover - I have already tried just running a tomcat
restart. So I tried to run db_recover, but this failed, getting the message
"db_recover: Build signature doesn't match environment". I just tried the
identical operation on the test machine for this server, which is set up
with the same version of java, fedora, tomcat, the same OS, file system etc
and had no problem. Can anyone throw any light or make any suggestions on
how to fix this?
