It seemed to me that the only mention of Muradora at the Open Repositories 2011 conference was in the context of people (including us at Hull) moving away from it or making plans to do so soon. I believe that the funding for any further development was 'pulled' and this before a sustainable community could build up around it. It is not wholly lost though: aspects of Hydra's design owe a lot to it. The authentication and authorisation components of Muradora have been migrated into the core Fedora codebase (starting with Fedora 3.3) and are known as FeSL. The authentication layer (based on JAAS) is now the default authentication component for Fedora.
