One comment. I was building version 2.3 and 2.4 (before it was released, beta?) and was able to run the following with success: ant buildfordownload
For v.2.4 release before I got success I had to edit values in build.xml even values should not have been used (I think?) for buildfordownload. These are: property name="local.FEDORA_HOME" property name="local.SOLR_HOME" property name="local.SOLR_SERVER" Build was successful after setting values to my configuration. It might be by design but I just noticed it was not the case in 2.3 so I decided to let you know.
