I get a connection timeout error for any external datastream with fedora commons 3.5.
All http-request from the server machine are handled by an http-proxy, which seems to be the cause for this behaviour. The question was raised and answered here https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/FCKB/mail/19988538 , but unfortunately the link to the cited documentation does not work any longer.
