Hi everyone,
I've been trying unsuccessfully on and off for the past few days to get Fedora
Commons (3.5) to do a double-bind with LDAP (Apache DS) using the JAAS config.
Single-binds work successfully but it does not return the user group
associations that I'm intending to use for object and data stream authorization
in XACML scripts. It seems reasonable to me that people would want to translate
LDPA groups into Fedora roles but all of the JAAS config examples I've seen to
date show only how to do various types of single-binds but nothing that shows
how to obtain group information. I'm starting to wonder if I missing something
terribly obvious on how to do this or that I should be going about this some
other way - perhaps at the Tomcat configuration level.

Any thoughts on this?

Rick
