Hi Pierre, When you upgrade Fedora, any new object you create in the new Fedora should have the size attribute for the datastream (I haven't tried 3.6.2 but I assume it's there). However, your old objects that were ingested in 3.2 won't have the size attribute computed for "managed" datastreams, instead, it will show up as -1. The Utility that Chris wrote will compute the SIZE and DIGEST for all datastreams in your repository where they're not already set.
./fcsu modify akubra --filter=set-fixity It can also be used with "legacy" (pre-akubra-based) low level storage. Subject: Re: [fcrepo-user] No size in the datastream definition Thanks Scott and thanks Vincent, I've just had a look at your links but I'm not sure about the actions to do... and the consequences. Tell me if I'm right: - the problem still unresolved for the 3.6.2 version - the Chris Wilper's utility complete the size attribute of the datastream, so I have to apply it on the 3.6.2 version (after the upgrade)... but probably each time I add a new datastream. ... I'll try the utillity in a test Fedora instance and tell you my feedback.
