Hi,

I have a set-up with Fedora G Search connected to Solr on a different
machine.
FGS is also configured for auto-updates using Fedora JMS. I use FGS to
trigger indexing and to handle
feeding Solr with documents and Solr for searching.
Both FGS and Solr have separate indexes, but I don't really use the FGS
index (unless I do and I'm not aware of it).

The indexing and feeding Solr works fine, but I can't seem to be able to
make FGS to remove a PID from Solr index.
I tried to use the updateIndex in the /rest service. Adding works fine,
but removing doesn't seem to do anything (to Solr index).

At the moment I'm using an URL request to Solt to force a deletion from
index, but I'm a bit worried that auot-update may not work.
At the moment I don't have possibility to remove an object from
repository to test auto-update (remove).

Any chance you know what could be the problem with remove index (by
PID), not working from /rest web interface ?

Thanks
Remi
