are you using the fedora install dialogue with the custom install option
selected? we are also using mysql on a different server, all we do is pass
the jdpc url in via the dialogue, I'm having a lot of problems setting up
XACML and FeSL under 3.6, but had no trouble with this
at the jdbc url: prompt our url takes the form
jdbc:mysql://<mysqlhost>/<db_name>?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF-8&autoReconnect=true
