Hi, I have followed the instructions @ http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Howto:Automount and I manage to have automount working. If you still have troubles to follow the instruction of the above link I can send you a more detail how-to directly. Further to your question I have something else to ask. In my case I have a multi-master replication and the problem is that I can't take advantage of it with automount and I'll explain why. As mentioned in the above how-to, in my automount entry for /home, I have specified the name of the server in "automountInformation" i.e. automountInformation: ldap:myLDAPServer.example.com:ou=auto.home,dc=example,dc=comThis means that in case the server is down clients will not query the other server for automount information. Is there any way to resolve this without having to change my configuration to Steve's one? Andreas Steve Rigler wrote: On Tue, 2007-07-03 at 15:15 -0400, Brian Zuromski wrote: |
