Was this a fresh install or an upgrade? If an upgrade, did you first run setup-ds-admin.pl -u?

Until I try to Open the Directory Server tree with the following errors....

  Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NullPointerException
  ...

I've read something about an OpenJDK 1.5.0 versioning problem, but I can't seem 
to find anything earlier than OpenJDK 1.6.0 ...

java -version

Any ideas?
