It seems you have it not enabled. Now I see from comment #5 that firefox actually segfaults for you, not just produce that java stack. Still the java stack trace is strange. But lets see if the crash gives us any more clues why it doesn't work for you. Could quit all instances of firefox. Then have a terminal where you run it as "firefox -g", that will drop you in gdb, just type "run" to get firefox running as normal. Go to the same URL and then when it crashes again you should be dropped in gdb again in your terminal.
