Yes they work pretty fine, you can use both wvdial or pppd to connect to
internet via those cards.
Ideally, we need it to work by just plugging it in. Fiddling with wvdial
is sub-optimal. If you have the configuration details, please file a RFE
against NetworkManager in http://bugzilla.redhat.com.
