squashfs gets posted every few months, people come back with complaints, the maintainer disappears for four to six months and then comes back with things fixed and goes at it again. That's been the treadmill with squashfs for over a year now :-/ Someone just asked again recently on the squashfs list about upstream, so that's usually enough to kick off another go at it...
