Hi, I've got some time ago the same problem. A possible fix is: add "noacpi, acpi=off" to the kernel line in grub.
If you don't know how to edit the line in grub, when you chose the kernel to boot:: press 'e', write the things I've mentioned before, save the stuff and then hit 'b' to boot. Hope it will work ;) Valente On Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 3:00 PM, wander queiroz <[email protected]>wrote: > Hi All, > > I have a hp pavilion dv7 and everything was working fine until i upgrade to > kernel 2.6.29.6-213.fc11.x86_64. > Now the system does not boot.
