I copied Fedora-11-i386-netinst.iso from a mirror, made sure the sha256sum matched the published value, burnt a CD using K3B, checked the CD using

sha256sum /dev/cdrom

This matched the original published checksum.

When I try to use the CD in two different machines, I get...

"Unable to read the disc checksum from
the primary volume descriptor. This
probably means the disk was created
without adding the checksum."

I tried other media, same message.

Should I expect this?

Pete
