If you've built a LiveCD using Kadischi, it is already available.
Type: memtest at the Boot prompt from ISOLINUX.
I'm pretty sure the stock Fedora 7 LiveCD spins also have this.
Someone should be able to tell you how to add the functionality to
Pilgrim/livecd-tools
if in fact it is not already done, but you didn't specify which or what
you were using.
