-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2007-2211 2007-09-18 22:31:48 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : freeradius Product : Fedora 7 Version : 1.1.7 Release : 3.1.fc7 URL : http://www.freeradius.org/ Summary : High-performance and highly configurable free RADIUS server Description : The FreeRADIUS Server Project is a high performance and highly configurable GPL'd free RADIUS server. The server is similar in some respects to Livingston's 2.0 server. While FreeRADIUS started as a variant of the Cistron RADIUS server, they don't share a lot in common any more. It now has many more features than Cistron or Livingston, and is much more configurable. FreeRADIUS is an Internet authentication daemon, which implements the RADIUS protocol, as defined in RFC 2865 (and others). It allows Network Access Servers (NAS boxes) to perform authentication for dial-up users. There are also RADIUS clients available for Web servers, firewalls, Unix logins, and more. Using RADIUS allows authentication and authorization for a network to be centralized, and minimizes the amount of re-configuration which has to be done when adding or deleting new users. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Mon Sep 17 2007 Thomas Woerner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1.1.7-3.1 - made init script fully lsb conform * Mon Sep 17 2007 Thomas Woerner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1.1.7-3 - fixed initscript problem (rhbz#292521) * Tue Aug 28 2007 Thomas Woerner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1.1.7-2 - fixed initscript for LSB (rhbz#243671, rhbz#243928) - fixed license tag * Tue Aug 7 2007 Thomas Woerner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1.1.7-1 - new versin 1.1.7 - install snmp MIB files - dropped LDAP_DEPRECATED flag, it is upstream - marked config files for sub packages as config (rhbz#240400) - moved db files to /var/lib/raddb (rhbz#199082) * Fri Jun 15 2007 Thomas Woerner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1.1.6-2 - radiusd expects /etc/raddb to not be world readable or writable /etc/raddb now belongs to radiusd, post script sets permissions * Fri Jun 15 2007 Thomas Woerner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1.1.6-1 - new version 1.1.6 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated packages: 3fac7de9872dc7ca64eba740a1b9d2c9ac4fd5ff freeradius-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc64.rpm 743963bb654ec212aacb78c5e94763274db1d4c5 freeradius-unixODBC-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc64.rpm 6bf56efae8d19968aa839bd920747f97365a02be freeradius-postgresql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc64.rpm be38bcc5b710c207ba26fb62832fb7d4936b1805 freeradius-debuginfo-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc64.rpm 5488846f85d24454ce345d54ad944e573f34753d freeradius-mysql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc64.rpm 1776fdf4b3dcd061fc716e397f165217d3a67933 freeradius-unixODBC-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.i386.rpm 41fe0cfc4d49e91170c10c530f9856751114c700 freeradius-postgresql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.i386.rpm 27b25d4af184b37ca84894ca34e5b82483dae50e freeradius-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.i386.rpm 6c1b05a4e4dc411779c841d5a800d611c1f5db35 freeradius-mysql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.i386.rpm 4b9b0758d70d07c21c8ba9f1ee69445b7fa86ca7 freeradius-debuginfo-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.i386.rpm 04bf9a29779db648c5293e76b7315e25e6e08bb1 freeradius-debuginfo-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.x86_64.rpm 95ade0476dd16ace8017c50b2203c5ed7a9ff595 freeradius-mysql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.x86_64.rpm 12b55ad99b13d510a6313bd6ff573b2294aeef04 freeradius-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.x86_64.rpm f29ed1910547d944b866ca02cf94300b2a6bda90 freeradius-unixODBC-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.x86_64.rpm 0aab03cbb764186d2a4bdb27f6dd0f9190171f24 freeradius-postgresql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.x86_64.rpm 001012de6b2bc591ca20f0441dd2d2979e8d9997 freeradius-debuginfo-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc.rpm 818b5502dcb8d23529f8dd411c3404cd2a45301f freeradius-postgresql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc.rpm fb2d9003e2069d710af3e9309822c26251264c1c freeradius-unixODBC-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc.rpm a4db293f069e2fdf866b5b0823825c1215acec9a freeradius-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc.rpm fa9a5ce09b29c518c877c3a624cd660c6238cf0e freeradius-mysql-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.ppc.rpm 4d6d301a6cecaaa197864142a60b1a52d75dedcb freeradius-1.1.7-3.1.fc7.src.rpm This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
