-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2009-6552 2009-06-18 10:59:24 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : wine Product : Fedora 11 Version : 1.1.23 Release : 1.fc11 URL : http://www.winehq.org/ Summary : A Windows 16/32/64 bit emulator Description : While Wine is usually thought of as a Windows(TM) emulator, the Wine developers would prefer that users thought of Wine as a Windows compatibility layer for UNIX. This package includes a program loader, which allows unmodified Windows 3.x/9x/NT binaries to run on x86 and x86_64 Unixes. Wine does not require MS Windows, but it can use native system .dll files if they are available. In Fedora wine is a meta-package which will install everything needed for wine to work smoothly. Smaller setups can be achieved by installing some of the wine-* sub packages. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Jun 10 2009 Andreas Bierfert <andreas.bierfert[AT]lowlatency.de> - 1.1.23-1 - version upgrade (#491321) - rediff pulseaudio patch (Michael Cronenworth) * Wed May 13 2009 Andreas Bierfert <andreas.bierfert[AT]lowlatency.de> - 1.1.21-2 - fix uninstaller (#500479) * Tue May 12 2009 Andreas Bierfert <andreas.bierfert[AT]lowlatency.de> - 1.1.21-1 - version upgrade * Mon Apr 27 2009 Andreas Bierfert <andreas.bierfert[AT]lowlatency.de> - 1.1.20-1 - version upgrade -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #501090 - RFE Wine Version 1.1.21 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=501090 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
