-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2009-8907 2009-08-25 03:10:59 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : hatari Product : Fedora 10 Version : 1.3.0 Release : 1.fc10 URL : http://hatari.berlios.de/ Summary : An Atari ST emulator suitable for playing games Description : Hatari is an emulator for the Atari ST, STE, TT and Falcon computers. More precisely, it is an adaption of the WinSTon source code to Linux, using the UAE CPU core instead of the original, non-portable assembler CPU core. The Atari ST was a 16/32 bit computer system which was first released by Atari in 1985. Using the Motorola 68000 CPU, it was a very popular computer having quite a lot of CPU power at that time. Unlike many other Atari ST emulators which try to give you a good environment for running GEM applications, Hatari tries to emulate the hardware of a ST as close as possible so that it is able to run most of the old ST games and demos. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Version 1.3.0 of the Atari ST/STE/TT/Falcon emulator Hatari has been released. This version brings you a basically working DSP 56k emulation which is required for many Falcon games and demos. Beside the DSP improvements, there are many other changes, some of the most important are: - Major rewrite of the ST shifter emulation (better overscan & sync-scrolling) - More precise Blitter timings - Multiple partitions support for GEMDOS hard disk emulation - Bug fixes for GEMDOS HD emulation Fopen and Fseek calls - The built-in debugger has been greatly extended. - Reworked the main dialog of the GUI and split the disk dialog into two separate dialogs, one for floppy setup and one for hard disk setup -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sat Aug 22 2009 Andrea Musuruane <[email protected]> 1.3.0-1 - updated to upstream 1.3.0 - disabled new upstream python UI - updated icon cache snippets - used upstream Mac OS X icons - preserved french man page timestamp * Mon Aug 10 2009 Andrea Musuruane <[email protected]> 1.2.0-4 - updated Source0 URL * Fri Jul 24 2009 Fedora Release Engineering <[email protected]> - 1.2.0-3 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_12_Mass_Rebuild * Tue Feb 24 2009 Fedora Release Engineering <[email protected]> - 1.2.0-2 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_11_Mass_Rebuild -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
