-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2009-9551 2009-09-15 06:22:44 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : monotone Product : Fedora 11 Version : 0.45 Release : 1.fc11 URL : http://monotone.ca/ Summary : A free, distributed version control system Description : monotone is a free, distributed version control system. It provides fully disconnected operation, manages complete tree versions, keeps its state in a local transactional database, supports overlapping branches and extensible metadata, exchanges work over plain network protocols, performs history-sensitive merging, and delegates trust functions to client-side RSA certificates. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Update to version 0.45. The most important change in this release is that personal keys are no longer identified by their name, but by their unique hash, which makes the handling of lost private keys in bigger projects much easier. This change requires the migration of older databases. The netsync protocol had to be updated, but compatibility between old clients and servers and vice-versa is ensured. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sat Sep 12 2009 Thomas Moschny <[email protected]> - 0.45-1 - Update to 0.45. * Sat Jul 25 2009 Fedora Release Engineering <[email protected]> - 0.44-2 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_12_Mass_Rebuild * Wed May 13 2009 Thomas Moschny <[email protected]> - 0.44-1 - Update to 0.44. * Sat Apr 25 2009 Thomas Moschny <[email protected]> - 0.43-2 - Rebuilt for new botan version. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #522882 - monotone-0.45 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=522882 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
