I'm adding this because syck-python in Extras (or upstream syck, for that matter) doesn't have a dump() function (no serialization, so it's only half of a library) and this parser is more fully featured. It is also YAML 1.1 compliant as opposed to syck which only partially complies with YAML 1.0, and has some robustness issues in the C codebase.
